About this piece
Bighorn Sheep is an original hand-printed linocut celebrating one of North America's most distinctive wild animals. The sweeping curves and textured ridges of the sheep's horns form the center of the composition, creating a bold black-and-white image with strong graphic character.
Natalie begins with her own drawing before transferring the design to lino and carving it by hand. Each impression is individually printed using a hand press and artist-quality Charbonnel ink on 160 gsm A4 paper.
Because every impression is printed by hand, subtle variations in tone and impression are natural. These differences are part of the character of original printmaking.
Bighorn Sheep is supplied unframed and unmounted.
Packaging
Each print is protected in a vegetable-based, eco-friendly cellophane wrapper and posted in a recycled cardboard envelope.
